About Codesion Cloud Services

Now a CollabNet Company

Codesion has been acquired by CollabNet and is now Codesion Cloud Services. Codesion, a pioneer in cloud-based source code management solutions is now based in Brisbane, California. With customers ranging from Mattel, Zuora, Trilogy, Razorfish, Stanford University and a host of others, Codesion has provided reliable and secure software revision control since 2002. Codesion has enabled more than 3,400 customers and 70,000 users in 90 countries worldwide to effective code, connect, and deploy the world's most complex open-source and commercial software applications.

Codesion allows for the creation of the most complex software in the most efficient and cost-effective way possible by using Software as a Service (SaaS) to deploy the platform across corporate intranets as well as the Web. Codesion integrates into leading software revision control and issue tracking systems such as Bugzilla, Trac and Subversion. As a browser-based solution, Codesion works across all major Operating Systems - Microsoft Windows, Apple Mac OS X, Linux, and Sun Microsystem's Solaris.

All Codesion hosting plans use the latest in secure storage technology. These include hardware RAID-5, 6X redundant 10GigE pipes, dedicated hardware and software Firewalls and dual-CPU Linux server farms protected in high-security US-based data centers. All data is backed up every 10-minutes and can be mirrored to a customers own on-site server daily.

Uniquely combining dedicated network infrastructure with hardware and custom software, Codesion has support plans for Subversion, Git and CVS hosting (among other solutions) ranging from free to Enterprise.

The Australian Green Tree Frog (commonly known as White's Tree Frog) featured in the Codesion logo is native to Australia and New Guinea, but today is distributed all over the world. During the early development of the Codesion system, a large green tree frog was featured on wall poster overhanging the workstation where much of the coding occurred and came to symbolize the hard work and passion required to build the system and grow the company. The frog also represents our commitment to helping improve the Australian and global environment.
