10-Minute Backups Taken on Private Storage Subnet

  • All customer data is backed up to servers on our private subnet in physically separated datacenters (inaccessible from the internet)
  • Hot Backups: Recent Subversion commits are pulled (via private IPs) from live servers in 10-minute intervals
  • Cold backups: Daily SVN repository, Trac, Bugzilla changes are compiled and backed up daily to cold backup servers
  • Private subnet is shared only between Codesion backup servers with restricted IP addresses

Daily Downloadable Repository Backups

  • Repositories can be downloaded daily via secure URL access (transfer via HTTPS)
  • Subversion repository backups- zipped DUMP files
  • Trac / Bugzilla- TARBALL files

Total Disaster Recovery System

  • Disaster Recovery System allows for rapid provisioning of replacement servers (i.e. following hardware failure)
  • Replacement servers are provisioned and restored from hot backup servers
  • Hot backup servers store daily "system restore points", or snapshots of all file changes (SVN, Trac, Bugzilla)
  • Hot backups built for stability and performance; pull latest changes each 10-minutes from live servers

Daily Restore Snapshots for Past 30-Days *

  • Cold backup servers each day take a snapshot of all your live data (svndump for Subversion, and tarballs for other services) - even in the event of a total repository corruption you can still recover
  • Includes record of every changed file (SVN commits, Trac change, Bugzilla tickets)
  • Complete protection against loss due to corruption or conflict within file structures
  • Enjoy quick access to backups by copying any file from the daily directory
